Roberta Rocas is a Managing Director of Hugh Johnson Advisors, whose primary responsibilities include managing client relationships for individual and institutional investors, as well as financial planning. She joined the firm in 2018, bringing 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Hugh Johnson Advisors, Roberta worked in financial planning, client relationship management and trust administration for NBT Bank. She was previously employed in financial planning for The Ayco Company, LP. Roberta began her career at Central National Bank, and transitioned into a dual role with Central Asset Management, their investment advisory arm.
Roberta has an MBA from The College of St. Rose and a Bachelors degree in Finance from SUNY. In addition, she holds an Associates Degree from Fulton Montgomery Community College and numerous degrees from the American Institute of Banking. Roberta also holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation, having completed the prerequisite courses through Cannon Financial Institute.
Roberta currently serves on the board of the Canajoharie Library & Art Gallery and as a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Council for The College of St. Rose. She maintains membership in the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York, where she previously served as a board member. Roberta has also served as a board member for the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region and on various planned giving councils, including that for WAMC.
